I have checked the starting levels of German aircraft (WIR vs WIR TMP) to see if they have the same bloated levels as the tanks. The good news is they don't. There are some differences but I think the design team did that on pupose. The differences for totals in the field and in the pools are:

Bf-109E -200
Bf-109F -206
Fw-190A +197
Bf-110e +200
G-50 +400
He-111H +200
Do-17Z +200
Ju-88A -6
S.M.79 +100
B.R.20 +85
Ju-52 -179

It looks like the net effect is +400 fighters and +400 bombers for WIR TMP if you apply the loss of transports to bomber production. There is a problem with the aircraft factories though. Through June 1942 no new aircraft factories have been added. The new tank factoris seem to show up on time but I will need to get through 1943 to confirm this.

Playing WIR2 I found that the comuter builds up any unit to a maximum squad etc limit.
This causes a problem for the german player in 1943 or later, because new units do not have reinforcements and are weak, empty divisions.
Would it be possible to add tools which let edit you the maximum division squads. I think about a menue that asks you how large the different units should be (Panzerdivisions, Infanty-Divisions,LuftwaffeD,...) that would help a lot

I am running WiR TMP under Win2000 PRO and Win2000 AV SRVR without a lot of problems, but there is one thing that keeps re-occurring and is most annoying. When I use ALT+TAB to minimize WiR and then restore it the disply of the map is garbbled on Win 2000 Pro Actually, the entire screen is garbbled, but the lower portion with the status display cleans itself up if you do anything that causes the status to update. Not so with the map.

On W2KPro nothing that I do is able to restore the map to its previous display. On W2K AdvSrvr I have to ALT+TAB again and then close the program from the task bar because the restored WiR program locks the display completely.

I presume that this is due to some inconsistency or incompatablitity with the display drivers. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to clear this up?

I don't know if this has been reported elsewhere but it's possible to "teleport" better tanks out of surrounded units and replace them with inferior models. This problem exists in the original version of Wir also.
