I understand that War in Russia is to be released on August 23. I was wondering if the game is still on schedule, and where we will be able to download it.
Thanks.

Well, it looks like it could be a very interesting weekend coming up, with WiR coming any time now and a certain RTS game expansion pack arriving in my mailbox in a few days. I'll be stocking up on my beverages of choice, cranking up the stereo, strapping on my jackboots (?!), and sending my wife and daughter on frequent shopping trips (if my funds hold out!). Ahh, the life of a weekend warrior! Thanks in advance, guys. Glenn.

A few days late is nothing. I've worked on a project that shipped 6 months late. It was painful, and disorganized, and damaging to me as a person. Matrix seems to have their 'stuff' really together. You only get remotely timely releases with excellent and realistic planning (plus more work than humans can theoretically do). To many its probably invisible, but in the game industry to ship on time is the exception rather than the norm.

Tombstone, "a few days is nothing" is dead on correct. Some of us have been waiting on a certain Eastern Front game for over two years, with nothing forthcoming in the near future. Matrix is breathing new life into a game I thought was consigned to the "How Can I Find This?" cyberbin. They can take their time, as long as its done right. Glenn.
