Chir River Battles

I would love to use this system to recreate a boardgame (like 48th Panzer Korps) which deals with the defensive battles around the Chir River (as described by Mellenthin and Balck). There are several excellent boardgames on the subject, but few of the computer variety.

Any advice on how to proceed? Is anyone else interested?

Truth be told, the first scenarios created for WEGO World War II: Stalingrad were about 48th Panzerkorps operations on the Chir. We had bigger, unrealistic plans for Stalingrad in the beginning. But The Chir Battles provided the use-case for what became the weather model and connected scenarios for the campaign game. These scenarios/campaign atrophied as the game engine developed, expanded and transitioned to the Summer and Fall campaigns of 1942. Once Stalingrad was scaled to a saleable product, we hoped for success--and a follow-on game--Operation URAN. Folks wanted MARKET-GARDEN, Napoleon's 1813 Campaign, and OVERLORD. And there we shall go.

But I sure liked me some Soviet counter-offensive circa 1942-43 back in the day...
