Sappers?

Im playing one of the new scenarios, The valley of death...

You have got to use sappers to clear a way through a minefield, I have no idea how to use them and I cant find any orders to make them do it...

So how do they work?

Units with a breaching capability just need to move through obstacles to clear them.
