Desert battles are awesome... North Africa mod?

I really love playing desert battles with this new engine. To perspective modders, I think this would be an absolutely brilliant thing to explore. This new engine really helps you to understand how topography plays such an important role in the vast open deserts. For inspiration, I would recommend installing the Northwest Kuwait mod found in the forums and replicating a major AV engagement there. Now just imagine formations of panzer 3s and honeys and Shermans maneuvering like fleets on an open ocean. Absolutely brilliant.

Really enjoying the game myself and feel similarly. Personally i'd love to see more desert themes in the future (I understand of course its not priority and devs got their hands plenty full) especially Israel, Egypt, and Syria. I think Israel themed stuff would be perfect for the games' time frame.

The Arab-Israeli wars won't be addressed in the foreseeable future due to the ongoing conflict, but we are considering a nearby region for DLC development post-2025. The desert environment currently functions for the NTC map but requires enhancements in flavor objects and appropriate 3D models, which are already planned.
