Scenario: "Operation Bog - Capture the Heidekamp Bridge"

The Russians are racing to beat our forces for control of the Bridge at the small town of Heidekamp. Friendly civilians have not had time to evacuate and are likely huddled in their houses. American forces are close and are going to take this bridge! Be aware, the on-scene commander has already provided much needed orders to these units and it’s recommended you let them execute the orders they have, then take control. However, once you arrive, you are in charge and may execute command latitude to do what you will.
Oh, one more thing. While you have Arty available, you are highly encouraged NOT to use it near the buildings in Heidekamp, for doing so will likely kill civilians. However, you will be in command and will have to face consequences for any choices you make.
Forces available to you:
- Air Assault element dropped in with CH47’s
- 1 CH47 providing a “false insertion”
- 1 Platoon of M1 tanks
- 1 HQ M1 tank unit
- 1 Scout element
- 1 Anti-air element
- 1 mechanized infantry platoon
- 2 Artillery guns
