Hey Erik!!

A brand new campaign-based 3D tactical engine covering combat in World War II, from the developers at Koios Works. The first operation covered is the famous "Wintergewitter" or Winter Storm, a desperate attempt by Hoth's 57th Panzer Korps to break through to the encircled 6th Armee at Stalingrad and the Soviet counter-attack by 2nd Guards Army that drove them back.

Yes it is, also uses Managed DirectX but that's a piece of cake since Microsoft integrated it into the normal DirectX setup.

Mmm...too bad that, makes it hard to run on Linux. My current mania is getting "real" wargames running on Linux. But it won't stop me from playing it on my Windows HD. Looks great!

Erik,

I stumbled across mono which is an opensource crossplatform .net implementation. I shall experiment with getting JC up and running on my Linux box using mono and report back my findings.
