Also, FYI Boxed copy options (Physical + Digital and Physical Only) will be available about five business days from the initial release.

I may be a little slow on the uptake, why not put Physical + Digital and Physical Only up now for folks and complete the fulfillment when the physical copies arrive? In that way you can get folks to make a purchase while they are hot for the game and have the money. Otherwise they may change their mind or spend the funds elsewhere. Just a thought.

I'd love to, but it's not logistically possible - it requires about four business days for the codes to be fully setup in the store to allow pre-orders for the physical side because that's integrated into the physical pre-production/validation process. A day after that, they generally start shipping. We'll get the options up there as soon as we can, but it's actually impossible for us to do it now because of how the back-end works.

LOL Joe - its was so cold here yesterday my nose and fingers fell off.

Great news on the release. I played a bit of HTTR last night and it's a game that rewards a person immersing one's self.

Clicking wildly and sending organizations off to let the AI do the rest can be done (and I suppose is impressive proof that the AI is intelligent enough to take things into its own hands) but the real sense of purpose comes in actively giving orders, finessing their completion.

There is a learning curve here but I'd place it around 4/10 in difficulty. War in the Pacifc being 10, Decisive Battles 2, World at War 6, Flashpoint Germany 5. I'm thinking COTA will be a 5 too.

Happy holiday mate,
Adam.

Man...you have to be carefully about complaining (I know your not really complaining....but going on) about digital download and why boxed version + DD isn't an option yet. If it carries on, Matrix may well prevent release of their future titles until the back  ends catch up and boxed/dd are available as options...meaning the people that don't give a rats ass about boxed version will have to wait in future.

I personally would rather have DD as soon as the game is ready and waive the right to the boxed version. WHat good is it anyway? No manual...so nothing extra except a box...and I'm not planning on selling them!!

I say leave it as it is Matrix. People want DD right away, it's there. If they want Boxed they have to wait until it's there...if they want both, then they have to wait until it's there. That simple.

But this is only the view of a person who wants the DD evrsion. If a manual is ever to be included in their boxed versions, then I will have to live by the same rules...wait until it's ready to be offered as an option.

AlexB,

True but this is the first World Cup in 32 years that features an Australian team. And what a great game with the Socceroos beating Japan last night 3:1. All good commanders need at least a few hours break each day so play COTA, watch the footy and forget sleep. [:)]

[:(] And just as my economy has hit the bottom [:@]
There is no way I'll be able to buy COTA for at least a month. At least that'll let me concentrate on school, and hopefully july will be rainy and the paycheck big.
