A Word of Thanks

Post by leegra »

Just wanted to pass on my appreciation to PadresFan and Captskillet for the associations they posted on PF's site. They're a lot of fun to play and really capture the feel of each era. Thanks again for all the hours it took to create them and for sharing them with the PS community...

I absolutely agree. After a long day at work it's really relaxing to have a ready made universe and a can of beer! Thanks guys!

Uh, there is a 3rd party add on forum that can be accessed from the top of this page. Here is the URL of PAdrefans excellent site:

Shaun - Don't know if you saw it in the other thread, but I would like to post more of these associations in the "Template" format rather than the PSA format. But to do this, I'd need you to somehow enable the template feature when building an association in Sandbox mode. Could this be added to the feature list?

Thanks!

This would be really tricky. I'm not sure this will be possible any time soon.

Couldn't agree more - to be honest, I only bought the game after I saw PadresFan's website and files - for me, the only way is to play with real teams, players, logos, and stadiums!

Way to go, thanks a lot!

Chuck, thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it!

Shaun - thanks for the reply, bummer that it's not any easy change as these sandbox associations seem to be the most prime candidates for Templates.

I love to play with vthe fantasy players. I also enjoy the real players, however, for me I actually get very attached to my team and players. I go into my league with no preconceived notions. It is also fun to see if I can pick out a few future stars. However, it is still a great deal of fun to play with major leaguers from all eras. I guess that is why I enjoy this game so much. Padresfan's Website is outstanding I have used his parks, logos, templates, all of those items are great.

I would suggest to other users try the challenge of fantasy players, but give it a chance and I think you will grow into that aspect of the game. Shaun has really got a winner here and he obviously listens to suggestions and continues to make the game better.
