What scale is the Wacht am Rhein?
I recently posted Ardennes 1944 on The Wargamer. It is primarily regimental level, with 2.5 km per hex, and half-day turns. I extensively used Trevor Dupuy's Hitler's Last Gamble (a great resource that gives tank, artillery and troop strength by divisions during weekly phases of the offensive, as well as estimates of combat effectiveness.)
Let me know what you think.

Wacht am Rhein was one of the old SPI "monster board games" of the 1970s.  It was 1km hexes, 4 hours per turn, and battalion scale (with company breakdowns for a few units).  Very difficult for the Germans to win.

One mile per hex. An A.M., a P.M., and a night turn. A great game.

I just got the updated version that Decision Games has come out with and can't wait to clear off enough cat-free table space to play the beast. Gonna take forever, but I'm retired and have the time now that I didn't have when this monster first came out.

Just my $.02,
Ron
