Just read the GameSpot article and sounds really good. I loved the two first editions of close combat, the third russian front was not so good. Well planning to get this one anyways, any idea on when it will be released?

More so, does this project have anything to do with the previous "Cross of Iron" game?

Great News, the Close Combat series are some of the best games I've played.

Although, as for the comment in the Gamespot article about the industry not finding a "Close Combat killer". Whilst it's still not quite there, I think the recent Company of Heroes has a pretty good attempt at it!

Apart from not being able to move your squads around whilst inside a building, I think the rest is more or less all there. The only thing that distracts maybe from the tactical side of things is that you always have to have one eye on your production facilities, whereas obviously re-inforcement happened inbetween rounds in Close Combat.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the new versions...[:)]

I can almost promise I will buy ever game Matrix releases in this series - provided they are at least as good as the original. I expect they will be better, if nothing else, fix the armor pathing!

That answers a few questions.

So, I have just one other important question that I have asked for other Matrix-published games (such as World in Flames): Will the game be available as a boxed product, a paid download, or both?

The game will be available as a digital download service as well as our Game On Demand.

Hi

Shaun told me that Armor pathing has been improved.

David

Will Shaun/CSOSimtek publish any info on how this has been improved either prior to release or after?

Just wondering since a big part of the tank "Dance of Death" was attributed to the SAI and TAI literally battling each other for control.

Any info on whether or not the infantry "Low Crawl of Death" was looked into? Just a-wondering.....
The infantry doesn't change. We're the only arm of the military where the weapon is the man himself.

Germany's unforgivable crime before the Second World War was her attempt to extricate her economy from the world's trading system and to create her own exchange mechanism which would deny world finance its opportunity to profit.
