Hmm, I was saying scen18. Is scen15 the one with the 12/7 historic start? I was thinking it was scen18 for some reason. I guess absence from the game is getting my numbers mixed up.

Scen 15 is the long campaign from 12/7. The official scenario list goes up to #16.

Aye. One cannot save to those slots. If  wanting to edit official scenario, have to save it to slot 17 or higher. Michaelm's add-on will fix the Type 13 radar for scens 15...actually it can update all scens 1-16. Check the instructions before applying. Link is in earlier post.

It sounds like if you run the fix13 it, fixes the radar in your save game file (that is the current game's image of the DB, that is created when you start the game).  It does not sound like it fixes it in the "main" DB, that is used during the load of each new game (each new game creates it's own image of the DB at the time it is started - that's why DB fixes are not retroactive).

You might well have run that fix13 and fixed your current game, but it doesn't sound like it actually updates the "main" DB (would not show fix, and all future games would still load with the broken radar until the "main" DB was actually fixed).  Hope that makes sense.

However, if you're trying to see if your fix13 took effect for your CURRENT game, you can try looking it up in the devices in the in-game DB.  When you're in a turn, up at the top of the screen you have buttons for "Aircraft info" and "Ship Info".  Basically, those are your "pretty" way to read the DB that was loaded with your current game.  I'm not sure if radars are listed in there, I know the various tanks and guns are listed.  But I know bombs are *not* listed (I always found that annoying).  So anyway, check that reference section in-game, maybe the radars are in there, and if so, it -should- reflect your change to air-search radar if you have run fix13.

Hi
my fix to Type 13 radar only affects the scenario data files, NOT save files.

Also, I don't think you can tell the difference between surface and air radar using the in-game DB. They all show N/A or '-' under Pen.

Sheesh, they would probably just show the name of the radar, if that, and not what it functions as, but it is something to keep in mind.
