408 RCAF Squadron

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

anybody got any info on this unit ?

old game had W. Ferris as a WC and CO of the squadron

I doing some hunting down of names and I find a Walter H. Ferris of 608 , but he is a WO ?

(of course, I do find a English airman, W. Ferris, but he is a Flight Sgt, I also find another W. Ferris for the RCAF but he is a Air Gunner)

any ideas ?

(I am working off a list of the dead, so, if W. Ferris didn't get killed, he is not going to show up :)

I found another decent site, but again, I am working off of dead lists (I really hate to work off of dead lists, they depress me)

thanks those are workable

man I feel like a ghoul, I find a couple of CO's who were KIA, and I know I can track there names down

type in a name at random, and come up with 4 pages of dead aircrew, oh joy
