Still Struggling with this game...

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Still Struggling with this game...

Post by YohanTM2 »

Being oeverrun by a a combined Russian/USA/GB onslaught ALL COMING THROUGH the Kursk pocket in 1942 is a tad disturbing. How they can all vie for the same railroad space is a bit odd, let alone the politcis of Russia and everyone overlapping the Gerries. Certainly no need for DDay.

I am currently playing the allies with second highest advantage to the Axis. The Panzers are just two or three turns from taking Perm and Russia will collapse. Though the Axis only have around 5-6 panzer and I 12 or so I have no chance at all. A panzer (level 17/19) could easily destroy one full Russian tank (strength 10, Level 9) in one hit without taking any losses to itself. I flee with my panzers to try to take out axis infantry/aircraft instead and trying to surround the front Axis panzers to cut their supply. But I have to little time and will surely loose all of Russia soon.
