The Hall Of Duelists

Post by GROND »

A hushed silence comes over the latest group of visitors to the Hall as they realize how few are Humanity's Champions. The ones hand-picked to defend mankind against the coming invasion.

WHERE IS EVERYBODY?

Post by GROND »

This is a two-fold question.

I know that all of us are awaiting Warring Suns but that doesn't mean that 1.4 isn't fun anymore. Some of you are 1-2 wins from rising in rank (closes eyes and sticks chin out) come on, we miss you. (tell me that wasn't an attractive picture) :p

Now as for the rest of you. Titans of Steel 1.4 has been downloaded something over 98,000 times. The list of netplayers as you can see ain't that long. Come on in, the (hot) waters fine.
Any of us are going to be more than happy to get you up to speed on the differences (sheesh) between playing the AI and playing real live humans (well, maybe not in my particular case, but.....). If you thought that you liked 1.4 before, after you've played us you're gonna discover a whole new world (it's called sleep deprivation). So please, Come One Come All, after all you weren't really using that life for anything important anyway. :)

Grond, there are a lot of rookies (ie at my level) that I've not encountered. Do you have a list of ICQ numbers, please?

Man...I wish I still had a connection I could play over. It's nice to see my name is still on the list of champions, but I'd sure like to be adding to it now. Sometime soon, I hope...
We sometimes catch a window
A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained

If you wish to be technical :) I honestly do not remember. I beleive it was more than you beat me, because I know there was a time when you were my little Paduan, and I was teaching you a couple things. That was a **** long time ago. But, for all I remember I could have beaten you only once. I just kept track of how many times I lost.

Hey, you can't say I'm fresh meat, like some of the newbies. And I sure ain't raw, like Pete Y. I'd call myself Medium-Rare at this point. PC, I'd call you Well Done. Hetz... Most likely he's Old Meat. What meats did I forget...?
