AI mobilization - CP

Post by coach3play4 »

I never get tired of this game, playing as the CP, and trying different strategies.
However, when i try to play as the allies, the AI seems always to start Non-historically - by not invading Belgium and going all out against the Russians.
While this is a good gaming strategy, I would like to see the CP AI start normally.
Is there anyway to force this, is the AI random - meaning i need to just keep trying for the AI to hit belgium and france first?
thanks

Please Help!!! I can not play the game like I want to (against the AI) as the allies! I need the Germans to invade Belgium and lighten up on the Russians. And the AI just will not do it - I've started over and over, and it is always the same - no attack on Belguim - all out against the russians.
I need to simulate a historical start -
any way to do this - am i the only one finding the AI to ALWAYS move ahistorically!?

Did you get the last patch ?

Since i installed this patch Central Powers IA ALWAYS attacks Belgium and Serbia... in a most inefficient way, but it does it ! [:)]

I usually play the CP, so I don't have a good answer, but I though Frank's explanation at one point was that the AI has several possible strategies as the CP and makes a random choice of strategy at the beginning of each new game.  Is that accurate?  I would like to hear a good answer to this.

I believe it's accurate, the AI's first decision is its grand strategy. I don't think it's 50-50 but I have seen the AI do the classic attack.

Yep. Just try starting 10 games in a row to see the various setups. (Or just check them in the setup folder)
