Country Borders

WW2: Road to Victory is the first grand strategy release from IQ Software/Wastelands Interactive, which covers World War II in Europe and the Mediterranean. Hex-based and Turn-based, it allows you to choose any combination of Axis, Allied, Neutral, Major or Minor countries to play and gives you full control over production, diplomacy, land, air and naval strategy. Start your campaign in 1939, 1940 or 1941 and see if you can better the results of your historical counterparts. A series of historical events and choices add flavor and strategic options for great replayability.

Enjoying the game. I have a color preception problem and am really having trouble with determimg the various nations borders. Is there any way to change the color (darken) the hex edges? I have checked the data files relative to the hexes but no joy.[:'(]

Sorry, but in current version it's not possible to change the borders' color, it's hardcoded. We'll take this out to settings file in next patch.

Agreed on this. It's a bit tough to make out the borders of advances/country borders as is. Dark red would do nicely.

I fully agree. The borders MUST be made more visible!

After the patch you'll be able to configure border color, thickness and style (solid/dashed/dotted).

I notice that there is an option for city names to be on the map there as well - excellent,#

now, when can we have it (i have a few hours spare tomorrow to play this that would be more enjoyable with this patch [;)])

Nicely done. This is how developers make repeat customers.

I hope that you can change the color of the borders. Remember that 8% of the male population is red-green color blind including me, so the ability to change the color to something else like black will be greatly appreciated.

There's 150 colors to pick from.

Be patient my friend and you will be rewarded [;)]. I'd like to fix the naval battle lockup problem (which seems to be the most serious issue by far) before releasing the first patch. Can't tell you any dates, we'll all do our best to release it asap.

No problems comrade, i want to do an aar whilst still a beginner for this game similar to one i did for 'advanced tactics' and was hoping to have the borders and city names in place before starting.

I will learn to be patient[;)]
