.x files

Post by Breeze »

Every stadium I've downloaded works fine in the game, but a couple of the .x files (Central Stadium and Spike Bowl) won't open in Truespace. Anyone else have this problem?

No they wont and I was about to make a post about that. I have Game Space as well and they don't work with that either.

I'm pretty sure David used Truespace6 for the game. Which is probably what Gamespace is built on. Older versions of truespace like 3, and the newer 7, dont work well with the stuff.

Hmm...it's weird, some files open, some don't.  And I always have to select "TS6 files" before I can open them.

The only person who knows is Gil since He made the stadium so I would suggest talking to him.

Do you have a high poly version of those stadiums? I would love to edit them a little bit and make them 50 yard field stadiums.

I second Rhino's question.  I was hoping to try taking a couple of stadiums and putting them together to make triple deckers.

That is what I am currently doing for Mykal's Olympic Mod. I made a quad deck field, but I would love to edit Spike Bowl

Spike bowls no good for me, even poly reduced it never works
I'm guessing I'm not the only one either,

even when I get that new PC, I dont really wanna use Stadia that are not usable by everyone
thats not to say you cant do it for ya'self Rhino, who am I to stop ya'.

Use Deep Exploration to view the files

Go to www.righthemisphere.com then you can convert to any other format

I'm not sure if it's still the same tho because they have another app called Deep View that's Free so you might just need that app.

Set up a league file with all the teams you plan on making in it. I would say 4 teams in each division would be good.

well so far we have 24 teams planned
so I was thinking 4 divisions of 6
top 2 teams in each division qualify for the knock out competion,
the math is easier that way
