Birth of America 2: Wars in America is the much expanded reprise of veteran developer AGEOD’s acclaimed first release, which allows players to command either side of the conflicts before, during and after the American War for Independence between 1636 and 1815. Apart from the engaging turn-based strategy play that has been expanded and vastly improved over the original, Birth of America 2: Wars in America includes major new features like an improved and expanded map including the Mississippi River, new European off-map boxes (France, Great Britain, Spain, Holland) and more.

NOTE TO SELF: in future buy the download & hard copy. To my knowledge manuals are not sold separately from the boxed game. The number of pages you have to print and the cost of the printer make the download & box game the best buy....just one guys opinion however.

I to have this kind of brain, printed word, game on monitor thing. I do much better if I have the mouse in one hand, the game on the monitor and the manual in the other. Buying the boxed game seems a bit much but perhaps you could find a friend to download and print the manual. I bought WitP and printed the manual before the boxed version arrived because they were on back order (full color pic's,250+ pages) so you might consider getting a printer or buying the boxed version.

The manual for the pre-patched version is included in the docs folder of the demo. All of the vital info is there.

However, what WOULD be cool is a poster-sized edition of that beautiful map. I'd put that on the wall (if my wife would let me [;)]). Really, I think it's a work of art (tell Art thanks!).

Wow! that is super expensive!
Really, if you have played previous AGEOD games i don't think you need the munual much. Just to check some of the new functions. And for this, the pdf is cool as you can search words.
For he rest, your past experience wuth he game and the excellent tooltips of the game shuold be more than enough i think.
I woudl not spend that 20 pounds!
Regards!
