extend s-class range

Post by borner »

I am sure I am not the first to do this.

When you have a group of s-class in port, send them out with a small AK. Then after several turns, have them refuel from the the transport, and you increase the range greatly. Just be sure not to go where any carriers may be

Most of mine accrue system damage faster than they run out of gas...

Yes, any that make it long enough tend to need a major overhaul before too long. They do have the advantage of having torpedoes that actually work.

Speaking of house rules, Ike, you might want to clarify yours.

Being the veteran player you are, surely you must be aware that the game itself will sometimes deploy Corsiars to carriers by upgrading the organic carrier squadrons.

You might want to revise that rule to be "no Marine Corsairs placed on carriers by the player".

Veteran from the Japanese side only. I will update the rule.

I think I have finallyfigured out the problem with Corsairs. Maybe Matrix used stats for the 1960's version.... jet power... advanced 20mm cannons, and sidewinders!!!!!!
