PBEM issue

Post by ool »

Just agreed to my first PBEM game. Japanese player sent me the file and I saved it to the save game directory under WITP. It asks me for player 1 password. Is this the Japanese players password? If so why would it ask me for my opponents password? i presume he did his historical first turn and saved as per usual. Is there a step that you can see that my opponent nay have missed? How do we proceed to resolve this?

Thanks for your time.

Your opponent forgot to hit End of Turn. Have him hit this and re-send you the turn. It'll then ask you to pick a password for player 2.

If you're playing with a historical first turn, all he should have been been able to do is pick a password and save. He may have saved it to a different slot than the one he sent to you, but that's about all I think you can do wrong with a historical start. Good luck and have fun with the game.
