not sure if this is possbile or not but it`s good to try;
would it be possible to use Italian regia aeronautica ranks rather then luftwaffe ranks for italian airmens? I think a game like this one with such a huge historical reconstruction should at least use the proper one.

Then to be consistent, the same should be done for the Hungarians and Romanians.  I don't know if Hard Sarge would be quite so willing to take on the extra workload, assuming that the code actually allows for such differentiation.

the issue is slots

any CW units, have CW ranks (which most CW kept there own ranks, even when flying with RAF squadrons)

and as pointed out, Axis have LW ranks

we just don't have the slots for this
