Leader Stuck & missing containers

Post by Houtje »

I encountered two oddities:

1. As dutch republic, I had an army in Mecklenburg. I built a Corps in Amsterdam and moved it (empty) to Mecklenburg. During the resolution of that move, the Prussians demanded I remove my troops from their borders. I complied and then suddenly my Corps and my Army were simply gone. The units that were in the army were still there, but the containers vanished.

2. I fought a battle in Prussian capital, and defeated them. They surrendered, so my Army moved back into Mecklenburg. A leader was spawned in Prussian capital because I had done so well. I wanted to move him to my Army, but he seems to be stuck. AutoJoin does not work and when selecting him and mousing over other provinces, no movement arrows appear.

Do you have a save file?

When you select the leader, does his flag indicate he's Prussian?

You may have to violate territory for a turn if your units become stuck in enemy lands.  Right click on a nation, then pick "Violate Territory" out of the context menu.

I'll try Eric's solution first. If that doesn't work, I'll check if he's Prussian and will send you the save file, Mr.z.
Thanks both.
