Ok. It was just an idle thought as I looked over the list I filled in above.

I don't have my WiF maps out, and I couldn't recall what Switzerland looked like. (Rail lines, factories, resources.) I know the Swiss rarely (if ever) get attacked.

MLees,

After reading through your list:

There's a typo for Norway: 1940, not 1949.

We are still missing a date for Panama.

I guess the easiest way to do this is to add a field to the country data for the date that the country entered the war. Then I can use the scenario start date to work out whether they have been at war since the beginning of the scenario start date's calendar year.

Finally, we don't have to worry about those countries on the list that have a partisan number of 0 in the existing country data files.
Here are the countries that MWiF can have Partisans, and who controls it in case it is not independent :

Argentina
Australia
Belgium
Bolivia
Brazil
British Guyana Commonwealth
British Honduras Commonwealth
Bulgaria
Burma Commonwealth
Canada
Chile
China
Colombia
Costa Rica
Cuba
Dominican Republic
Dutch Guyana Netherlands
Ecuador
El Salvador
Finland
France
French Guyana France
French Indo-China France
Greece
Guatemala
Haiti
Honduras
Hungary
India
Iraq
Ireland
Italy
Japan
Korea Japan
Malaya Commonwealth
Manchuria Japan
Mexico
Netherlands East Indies Netherlands
Netherlands
Nicaragua
Norway
Panama
Paraguay
Persia
Peru
Philippines United States
Poland
Rumania
Saudi Arabia
Siam
Siberia USSR
South Africa
Spain
Sweden
Turkey
Ukraine USSR
United Kingdom
Uruguay
United States
USSR
Venezuela
Yugoslavia
Thanks.

Then the task is to provide an historical entry date into the war for each of these countries.
Why is the historical date important?

So that the game know at the beginning of any scenario which countries have the full PART number or half PART number for being neutral sometime during the calendar year.

Yes.

I'll add a new field to the country data for this (later this week).

I can fill in the data files with the data if you need.

Sorry, I had to go to another online source of info.

http://worldatwar.net/timeline/other/di ... 39-45.html

For Panama: 7 December 1941 (DOW on Japan), 12 December 1941 (DOW on Germany)

Sorry for the typo's, too.
