Right, but the net production in the West is 74,280 supply and 59,820 fuel per day (excluding Pearl Harbor and Alaska), so the additional from the East barely doubles the US production.

I'm finding it hard to believe that India can produce as much as the West Coast, or half of US, during that time. It's true that a lot of the US production during that time went to Europe, but so did a considerable fraction of India's -- after all, the British Empire was fighting a rather big war for survival there.

Canada is probably right at 2,730 supply and 730 fuel per day, so I'd think that India is producing a bit way too much. I don't recall India being heavily industrialized during WW2...

Well the problem is that you can hardly expect the Japanese to direct most of the production to the British Islands if they are to take those places...
And by the way, I guess those US numbers only matter for December 1941. They may change later in the war, right?

Yeah, I agree. It's April in my game, and I have too many supplies and too much fuel already stacked up in the USA...but lack of ships to take it anywhere. Having more HI or LI in the USA will solve nothing...except generate ever more supplies and ever more fuel that you can't possibly move anywhere due to lack of shipping.

Where are you getting your 60,000 supplies per day figure from? I think the actual amount produced is closer to 5k per day. Abadan gets 15k fuel per day, not supplies.

Ops... I stand corrected -- the spreadsheet I was using had an incorrect formula (one HI was producing 20 supplies instead of 2, and LI was producing 15 supplies instead of 1). With the correct formulas I get:

India: 1430*2 + 2080 + 1700 = 4580
US: 1340*2 + 3100 + 15000 = 20780

This looks much better - it gets the 1:5 ratio in supplies that I was looking for, so there is no problem. I withdraw my point. Sorry for that -- I'm bumping my last post to avoid confusion.

Has anyone examined IJ's production flow to see if they are benefiting from " entertainment vs reality" that you desire to put emphasis on? Id like to see someone look at the figures there.

Apparently there is some sort of goofyness in relation to AC production ability as exploited by AI in games. If this is the case it stands to reason a human player can exploit this as well.

Id like to see what this all boils down to. Because frankly I dont wish to play a GC in which the IJ player can produce thousands of zeros off the bat. And lets not forget the concession the AE team made in respect to torp bombers...no HQ in hex req, but rather in command radius, which, frankly...is a joke.

Lets be careful about chipping away at the foundation, lest it collapse on you.
