pbem

Based on Slitherine’s popular tabletop wargaming system by the same name, Field of Glory now comes to the PC in a faithful adaptation of this acclaimed miniatures wargame! Without the calculations and measurements required for a tabletop game of Field of Glory, the PC version accurately represents Ancient and Medieval combat where you make the important and fun decisions on the battlefield. This forum also supports the Rise of Rome, Storm of Arrows and Immortal Fire expansions to Field of Glory.

why was mp(pbem)implemented without a disconnect feature. I think Matrix games has dropped the ball here. I for one have been patiently waiting for an update/fix to this issue that has gone on largely ignored. I personally am down to 4 games max on MP from 20. When I get down to 0 then maybe I have an excuse not to play it.[:'(]

This is by design, not an oversight. It is the only way we can guarantee you are up to date to avoid bugs etc. For the games you have problems with - have you downloaded the map pack? If not can you send a list of games with your username to info@slitherine.co.uk and we'll remoev them. There will be an automated way to deal with this as soon as we get time.
