BTW , Per, my brother went to Sweden for his work a few years ago; he took some pictures and the landscape were awesome ! He went in end of november IIRC , and one of his picture was taken at dawn...at 11 am [:D].
He used to think it was a cool country, but could not stand the cold ( wich is not surprising, he can not even stand the cold in his part of France [:'(] ).

We have an evil coldness at times, yes. Beautiful, but cold.

No wonder Swedes are among the busiest travelers in the world. We have to get away and warm ourselves now and then. [;)]

I'm truly looking forward to my trip to France later this autumn. In my eyes, your country is also very beautiful.

We have a good number of red tail hawks in our area.  I love watching them glide and hearing their cries.  

And watching them kill and eat little birds![:D]

Mostly, RTH don't bother trying to eat little birds. Their staples are more Rodentia and terrestrial targets of opportunity.

Squab (young pigeon) is a delicacy in many parts of the world. [opinion on] They're all nuts there, because pigeons / squabs are nasty [opinion off].
