Yup, radio play in Texas in the 80s didn't cater to furreigners, except Brits. Only other German bands from that period that I can think of are Scorpions (the most obvious of all), UFO (most obvious of all's brother), Golden Earring (uno hit wonders in 70's and 80's), Der Commissar (for ripping off a Falco song), Falco (doesn't count because he's Austrian), Nina (and those gd luftballoons) and Peter Schiller.

I remembered Kraftwerk and Trio because a friend of mine had their albums at the time, which in itself was quite rare.
