NO enemy shippings around island or enemy aircrafts spotted. Returning to Base to be replenished and reloaded.

Combats in all fronts at China Theatre.

Over Sian, our IJAAF assets have flown numerous sorties against enemy ground units reporting more than 300 enemy casualties. Northern China Area Army Group have stormed Sian with many chinese forces trying to flee. Enemy forty was downed to size 0 with 2.148 IJA casualties reported Vs. 2.429 chinese troops eliminated.

AT South, XVI Army stormed Tuyun with heavy air close support from 3rd Air Division and tanks from 8th Tank Regiment. 1.088 chinese casualties vs 299 IJA men lost.

AT Western, XV Army assaulted enemy mountains possitions at pass in the main road to Kumming. 359 Chinese casualties were reported there with 555 IJA men lost.

It´s possible i´m losing something but .....Isn´t it a BIG mistake to leave Sian by Chinese forces now? At least they could make you same attrition and sure they will leave the city if they are defeated [&:]
 
It isn´t the way he could use bandits ( [:D] ), protecting and reserving his troops, it´s no necesary.....their mission is dead & give problems to the japanese and entertain as many troops as possible.

I´m not pretty sure that Jonathan´s forces at Sian were fleeing. Could seems that some chinese mauled corps (with 1 or 0 A.V.) were beeing withdrawing to rest at rearguard... But I hope to capture Sian in few days (or weeks). It´s not an easy target when more than 50 chinese units are there (33 at Sian with another 23 in the forest at southern approaches).

The fall of Sian will be a great success ... but the main target is Chungking. Be patiente, I´ll need months or one year... but the prize will worth it!.

His smashed units will reappears at Chunking at 30% TOE (and he need chinese pools -not squads, but needs arty, HMGs, etc..-,ready for that! and remember about Experience and Moral about this reemplacement troops.. They will be poor)... For the other hand, I am confident with Jonathan´s abilities. He´s a smart AFB, veteran (and very reliable!) player. He have to take hard decissions at China due the hard IJA offensive, and chinese are poorly supplied.

Western Offensive at China have like secondary target to avoid chinese bases to be ressuplied by western powers from flights from Northern India.

Probably he can argue about this matter better than me... It´s only my humble oppinion.

Several storms over enemy positions at China in all fronts, like bellow:

- Sian´s Northern Area Army forces have smashed 40th Chinese Corps nearby to the City. Enemy have surrender with 7.436 enemy casualties (5.296 squads destroyed with 54 guns eliminated).

- In The South, XVI Army forces have smashed enemy resistance in the other side of the river. 1.400 IJA casualties (10 squads destroyed) was the price vs 3.978 chineses killed or prisioners (362 enemy squads destroyed).

- In the Western approaches, XV Army have reported another 859 chinese casualties with 54 enemy squads destroyed vs. 1.004 IJA men lost (2 squads destroyed).

-In the Southern Sian, our forces have press on to avoid enemy escape from our trap. In the clash, IJA lost 17.832 men (only 94 squads destroyed) vs. 5.255 chinese casualties (26 squads destroyed).

Today, Chiank-Kai-Chek bandits bangs have 1.000 squad less to fight against the myth and power of the Imperial Japanese Army. Doesn´t matter the price to pay.. At last, China will be under his knees and we´ll be another annexed province.

AT MORNING, TAKE OFF LIKE FIRST WAVE, 32 A6M3 FROM IJNAF TO SWEEP ENEMY SKIES. THE REPORTED 8 P-40E WERE ON CAP WITH 03 OF THEM DOWNED.

THE STRIKE WAVE WITH 40 KI-43-IC ESCORTING 29 KI-48IIA REPORTED 1 P40E ON CAP, DESTROYED BY OUR FIGHTERS WITH 1 DB7B DESTROYED ON GROUND AND 8 AIRBASE AND 27 RUNWAY HITS.

OUR INTEL REPORTED 07 P40E WERE DONWED ON A2A WITH ANOTHER MORE DESTROYED ON GROUND.

FOR THE OTHER HAND, ENEMY HAVE INTENSIFIED THEIR 4E. FORCES IN THE AREA WITH NUMEROUS STRIKES OVER OUR BASES. TODAY MORE THAN 70 FOUR ENGINE MONSTER HAVE FLOWN MISSIONS AGAINST LUNGA AND MILNE BAY ATTACKING GROUND UNITS ON THE FORMER AND AIR FACILITIES AT MILNE.

I AM IN A MUST TO REQUEST HIGH PRIORITY FOR REEMPLACEMENTS WITH THE NEW KI-44-IIA IJA FIGHTER FOR OUR ASSETS TO FIGHT AGAINST 4Es WAVES.

Are you sure about this? I thought that Chinese resurrected units come free of charge and do not use devices from the pool.

Heavy air combats over Portland Roads. Our Ki-43Ic fighters lost contact with Striking Wave (the bombers returned to base), and all of them (33) joined with 40 A6M3 from IJNAF (took off from PM) swept enemy air base at P.Roads.On CAP 23 P39D and 10 Kittyhawks. Another 4 A6M3 swept enemy skies and dogfighted with 5 P39d and 3 Kittyhawks.

Our losses were 5 Ki-43Ic and 2 A6M3 vs. 9 P-39D and 6 Kittyhawks.

Tomorrow more strikes will come

SUBJECT: ENEMY NAVAL BOMBARDMENT MISSIONS AGAINST OUR BASES
DATE: AUGUST 15TH, 1942

Any offensive movement for the enemy side must be taken into our high consideration after bombardment missions with naval gunfire at Port Moresby and Tarawa Island. In the former 5 enemy heavy cruisers have strike our airfacilities (11 casualties and only 10 runway hits). Thanksgiven to our fortification levels (size 5) damage have been nill. At Tarawa Island, another SCTF have bombarded at night at our garrison in this island provoking 144 men lost, 8 airbase hits and 3 airbase supply plus 32 runway hits. Heavy damage on airstrip have been reported by 24th Air Flotilla. This time the enemy force was leaded by a new battleship: USS NORTH CAROLINA.

No amphibious forces have been spotted and several Daitais from 23RD and 22ND AIRFLOTILLAS have been ordered to be redeployed to fight against any thread in southern perimeter.

Long Range naval search air missions will take off tomorrow with orders to locate enemy naval intruders.

Heavy enemy bombers have been intercepted over Port Moresby, numerous B-24 and B-17E were engaged by massive ammount of fighters from IJAAF and IJNAF. NO enemy Heavy bomber have been destroyed, but many of them were damaged, and I hope several of them have been lost in the returning leg to their dirty nest in the northeastern australia.

Our sweeps over Portland Roads reported 2 enemy fighters downed by 1 Ki-43Ic destroyed by us.
