Aaargh - super powered Russian tank division in July 41

Post by MrLongleg »

Playing beta V and it looks like the Russian got some secret weapons now powered by alien technology. This tank division has a combat value of over 600 ![X(]

How am I supposed to deal with that? Or did I stumble upon a bug?

Its possible that he may have merged loads of tanks into one division and its way above 100% TOE. A bit unlikely though.

Try some direct recon and see if the value changes.

Do you play Ai or human? Can you share the save?

DL is already 10, so no need to fly more recons.

Edit. Just saw the the title on the bar. Can you ask you opponent if he was not merging several units into one.

Playing against a human in PBEM, attached save, will PM you the password

OK, no need to ask for the merging. One of ready elements is -1. It should get corrected after the logistic phase. I'll try to track how did it get to such value. If you have some prior saves and way to get such value that would be helpful as well.

Beginning of turn save - I have no idea how it got that way. Maybe it was involved in one of the battles before?

You should enlarge the file size - 5MB is a little small

Apparently there is a bad disruption on that element as well and this one won't get fixed that easy. Attaching a fixed save.

Playing German with beta 5, I noticed on T1 of a new 1941 GC some fantastic combat values of Russian units near Minsk. I attacked anyway, with inferior forces, thinking it must be faulty recon. The combat screen gave the Russian a CV of 600 as I remember, but with mine only a third of that or less, I still won. Does that sound in the realm of WAD?

Did you fix the end turn save?

That would be the one that I need to press end turn once more and send it to my opponent..

Got it. Will Fix. It is a disruption bug in river crossing code. Thanks for the report and saves.
