Great start. I think if you say "I love the Empire" three times fast and click your heels you get the rest of Kipling's collection.[;)]

I got Mrs P an ipad and she has the kindle software for it. She's started reading those bloody awful Swedish "Girl with an unlikely libido" series.

Is the kindle backlit?

Hi all,

The "IL-2: Cliffs of Dover" flight sim is out (successor to highly acclaimed "Il-2 Sturmovik" sim series)!

Unfortunately it is, apparently, riddled with bugs (according to 99% of posts on forums) and almost unplayable... <SIGH>

I was looking forward to it... [:(]

What a stupid name: IL-2: Cliffs of Dover"... sounds like a "What if the western powers and the Soviet Union went to war with each other after defeating Germany?" scenario...

It's hard to forget things that make you laugh out loud. And of course, birthdays do nothing of the sort. More in the 'pants-wetting terror' category.

i think it means IL-2:'what we really wanted was battle of britain but we cant quite get it right and dont know how to do it properly, but at least if we mention dover it will get fools to think its BoB and theyll buy it, even if all theyre going to get is 2 fighters v 2 bombers over the channel, because as soon as land comes into view the processor blows up' (TM)

Hi all,

This is how official "IL-2: Cliffs of Dover" site deals with negative posts... [X(][X(][X(]
RANTS- complaints, whines and negative postings!

Rants, complaints, whines and all the negative jibe will not fix anything faster and only makes it harder to enjoy other users discussions on the forums when nay-sayers are constantly popping into discussions with their negative tripe.

Just report negative and troublesome posters by clicking in the upper right corner. Mods will receive instant emails and can deal with the troublesome posters. It is not sensible to try to explain, console, or otherwise placate the troublemakers. Just report them, and their postings will be deleted or they will be banned.

Well, you've got to admit that their title is catchier than the one you propose. [:D]

Wondering how many pages would be knocked off of this site if those were the rules. Just because someone rants or whines doesn't mean he's wrong.

So they're admitting that something is well and truly broken, then?

nay-sayers are constantly popping into discussions with their negative tripe.

It's not every day that you hear a game company that is interested in PR refer to critiques as 'tripe'. [X(] If Matrix had this POV, then I'd have been banned about 9 years ago.

It is not sensible to try to explain, console, or otherwise placate the troublemakers. Just report them, and their postings will be deleted or they will be banned.

So, did the Stasi open up a games division then? [8|]

Good night all. 14 more days.

What? Does the 15th being on a Friday mean that you get until midnight Sunday?

The tax deadline is the 18th this year. I think the 3rd Friday in April is a DC holiday, which makes it a government holiday, so the little people get a couple of extra days, and poor Stuman gets to work his butt off for a couple of extra days.
