Psycho is a little broad. [:-]

In your case, let me be a little more specific.

You suffer from a condition known as Narcissistic Personality Disorder, or NPD.

I can copy and paste the characteristics into this thread, if you insist, Pugsley.

Copy and paste any stug, or pugsly pictures you feel are on topic.  Make as big a spectacle as you want.  You have no control over yourself anyway.  I really do like how you flamed out here.  Thanks.

You are just an online twerp.  Why would I care what you do?

For our readers, please believe that I take no joy in exposing Lewis:

I can post this stuff for weeks on end.

In another life, I had a similar f-whit destroy a gaming community that was truly dear to me. I'm not willing to let it happen again. I had Lewis pegged years ago, BTW. I have no desire to hurt or devalue him, but he's simply on a different rail than the rest of us. This won't mean that the "troubles" will end. His necessity to "resupply" his narcissism will likely lead him to use his "sock-puppets" to subvert the group as he did at the BF forums. That we said, we do what we can.

I guess hand grenades would be considered as command detonated bombs too since you ignite the fuse and deliver it.

In which case, command detonated bombs have been around for centuries.

Were you lobbying for their inclusion in PCO?

Good Hunting.

MR

Not really a good guess.

The whole scheme is that you initiate an event that is less than human reaction time. I.e. press a button and things go boom in less than 0.4 seconds.

Really. Bad. Guess.

Being able to detonate a teller mine when a target is right on it is not like throwing a grenade. And it could be much greater than 25 meters range.

Yes, you can post your stuff for weeks on end and use the 'us' and royal 'we'... its very effective.  You are a natural leader.

I am so saddened to hear about your awful loss of a 'gaming community' that was very dear to you.  Please use due diligence to make sure nothing of that breath-taking magnitude befalls the world at large.  Jump into a nearby phone booth, don your super-hero costume and emerge forward as ...THE-THING-FROM-TEXAS-WITH-NO-LIFE!!!

(Do your imaginary friends find you amusing?)

edit: I think that PRINCE has some sort of obsessive-compulsive fascination with me.

That's an interesting point, the fascination, I mean, in the case of your envy of Michael Dorosh.

I believe that it's #8 on the following video. If not, I'll update my post:

We don't need silly pictures in this section of the forum. If you guys have anything relating to WWII post it. If not don't.

Is there a forum where PRINCE can post his inane pictures?  Maybe that would help.  I would like to continue posting information regarding the topic at hand.  That is, Command Detonated Mines.  Thank you.

Most public forums don't allow you to post images with your messages. You have to link to the image somewhere else. Let's not abuse Matrix's allowance of this, POE.

Nice info on electric fuze for S-Mines.  This would really give 'claymore' type operation to these bounding bettys.

The problem I see with command detonting mines is that they are really controlled by the overmind. The all knowing and all seeiing player not the pixeltroopen that should be controlling it. So some limitation would have to be placed on them so it isn't gamey.

Or an option for both. After all we are playing games and sometimes that gets 'gamey'.

RE: Command detonated mines

I have to admit, I started the thread because of some incorrect info posted at the '1:1 game forum'.  If anything, boobytraps, mines and command detonated 'ambush' weapons were part of the terror of fighting in the bocage.  I am trying to locate some historical info I had regarding the hedgerow fighting making use of these battery-operated-killers.

But as far as some inclusion into PC?  I could see some sort of abstraction such as a modifier to the initial attack an enemy unit suffers when entering a minefield IF a friendly HQ unit is with XX meters of the minefield or IF ANY Engineering unit is within YY meters.  It could be a one time dealy.  Once an attack has been successful by that minefield, it no longer gets the modifier.  Not perfect but a good abstraction.

And claymores are the shit.  My senior NCOs in the army were Viet-vets and they made sure we knew how to use them.
