AE has been running great for me using the multi core switches. Very fast.

After hundreds of hours of good running, out of the blue 'calculating air superiority' is taking waaaaay too long. I've been playing the same game the whole time, nothing changed... any advice?

Something running in the background or your computer has slowed down for some reason.  I've had it occur a couple of times.  I exit, and restart the computer and it fixes it.....at least so far.
