Oz: More suppries unroading at Port Headrand. All the B-24's have moved to Alice and some of the B-25's to Merauke. I hope this leaves enough firepower to keep the LYB's suppressed.

Big raid over Darwin today. There is ZERO CAP. The place gets pounded hard. Did JJ just announce they are giving up their position in Oz or was this just an erroneous click????? I had hoped their guard would be down after the fighter losses over Gove yesterday. It worked.

Katherine ground troops also hit pretty good by 13 B-24's from Alice and even some Beauforts from Tennant Creek. If they aren't going to contest in the air over Katheine, then the attack up the trail from Daly might even work. A new squadron of recon P-38's moved to Alice to help.

The slaughter of LYB aircraft over India is so shocking as to give Allied piliots pause. To a man, they walked with a heavy gait toward their aircraft this morning, burdened by the loss of so many young men and the roll they had played.....but they all pretty much got over it when the saw the cool new rising sun logos signifying enemy kills painted on the side of their aricraft.

Don't feel too bad, Cap'n. I too have found myself actually not disliking a number of Victorian / Edwardian Limey-based costume dramas, including the aforementioned Downton Abbey.

I find the best thing to do is to make airs about how much you are sacrificing for the good of your partner's entertainment.

Good: "Oh, all right (sigh), I'll watch Downton Abbey with you...", can be used to further credit your 'brownie point' accounts, thereby opening the door for further spousal 'considerations'.

Bad: "Yipee! Downton Abbey is on! I hope that that middle sister wears that organza dress with the lace cuffs and those white pumps!" will have your partner reconsidering your masculinity.
