keep at it Mike... boost that count. Have to keep up with Dan and GreyJoy!

Darwin was capture, and Singapore was attacked pretty hard.

CVs were moved west to just SE of Milne Bay areaish.. 15 hexes from Rabaul. Some AKs heading SW of of Rabaul..and KB appears to be heading east out of Darwin.. will it come down through Horn Isl... three subs are blocking the strait, wouldn't mind a shot at any passing CV. Cruiser SAG is 5+ hexes east of the CVs ready to head off any forward invasion fleet that lacks air cover, or is outside of the Zero ex range, and screening carriers. Harvey's SAG is in with the CVs as well. I'm getting ansy for a CV fight...if KB comes barking, we will turn and move out of the area as fast as possible....they very well could be coming down to start covering invasions in the Solomons now that Darwin has been captured. PM would be their next target to cover their Aus invasion...

How much dmg will those Jap BBs have from a single mine hit?

SoPac -– Loading 114th Base force on two ships with a DD escorting for PM, this will be 60V when full. It is on a indirect slightly southerly course to PM.
-- Note: the Lexington TF was spotted 3/3. Need to move them back another 3-4 hexes.
-- There are two TFs south of PM that don’t have any orders. Are they targets?

West Coast -– TF 268 is the Americal Division transports. I spent the 714 PPs to build it into one unit with Pacific Fleet HQ. It is speed 4, tried to make it faster but it needed more cargo space than I could put in the fast xAPs. It should be at Noumea in 36 days or so, I have set it for Brisbane as we expect it will be needed at OZ, and it is 43 days to there.
-- Let me know when I can start using some of the PBYs in the pool for my two west coast search units. It will help with ASW efforts.
-- 22nd BG and soon the 3rd BG will be ready to go somewhere. OZ? Also, the 49th PG is available.

Panama -– SS Finback shows up with a 30 aggressive captain. Replaced him for 1 PP with a 62 aggressive commander. Hopefully he will figure out how to make the Mk14s work better…
--More ships assembling at Balboa for another convoy to the west coast.

NoPac and ANZAC –- Everything moving as it should.

Every ship can be a minesweeper… once! [X(] I never… never… never… ever… take ships into a major allied port without a DMS going in first and that is after all the troops are gone.

Probably not true, but they have big holes in them! Expensive lesson, the Kongo’s are important escorts for the KB.
