Upgrading to the 40 miles per hex version

I bought the earlier version of War in the Pacific, Admiral's Edition [with 46 miles per hex] in Feb 2012. Do I have to pay the full cost to upgrade to the new version, or is there a way to upgrade at a discount?

The only version I know of is 40 per hex and I've been playing from launch.

I think the original poster might be confusing nautical and statute mile hex sizes. I forget which is which, but one is 40 and the other is 46.
