Production

Post by Finarfïn »

Hello,

I have just beginnig a global war solo game.
During setup i manage to have the minimum of factory not running (idle) but when i arrive to the production step i realize the CW and FR get less ressources than previous (without any loss or change in the CP roads).

At this point i'm wondering if i have made a mistake during reorganization step (using oil rule) or something else.

Just to know do you specifie the factory for each ressource or sonething else?

Fin

PS sorry for my bad english

its possible that you may have used Oil resources to re-organize your units. If you did that then yes you will most likely see some Idle factories that the Oil resources should have been going to.

Make sure to specify saved oil when possible for re-org.

Also it's possible some of your convoys did not have "sentry" status and got returned to port.

No i have checked all sea area just to be sure (for the CW at least).

I'll see tonight (next turn) if it's due to reorgansition or somethings else, i've read about a "bug" with Poland when the war begin.

Also make sure that a resource from Asia or India is using up convoys for resources much closer like those in Canada and South America. I tend to idle a lot of the asian and india resources at the start so they dont screw up your convoys. Make sure your convoys are not shipping resources from the UK to Indian factories. Try to make sure Indian resources go to indian factories.

Don't know yet if it's due to an oil expense for reorganisation or "poland bug" but in fact MWIF try to sent resssources to england via the wrong road, during setup i've made a small med road ( Cyprius and supply ) and all by Capetown and not setting a single CP in Red sea but... as i setup a french CP it's trying to pass by...

I'll restart the game tonight trying to compute every ressources :).

1) You have started a solo game of Global War.
My favorite scenario.

2) During initial set up your CP lines (CP roads) were established to ship resources allowing a minimum number of CW and FR factories to be idle. But without changing the CP lines when you get to the production step the CW and FR are receiving less resources than they should.

3) Have you made a mistake using oil during the reorganization step?
Not unless you planned to use your saved oil for production. And It would have had to have been saved from a previous turn.

4) Do you specify the factory for each resource?
You specify a resource for each factory you want to have produce.

The number of Build Points you will receive is determined by how many factories you have producing multiplied by the production multiple.

"Factories Producing" multiplied by "Production Multiple" = Build Points.
