For those that don't have these games, what a bargain. I enjoy the campaign series more than many current games. My interest has grown over the years as it has with other classics such as Combat Mission.

I have written glibly before about the Campaign Series' 500+ scenarios. It so happens I was way off, off by way more than half. How many scenarios -- including LCG scenarios -- are there in MCS? Would you believe?

It's humbling. This game is much more than "the engine" or the EXEs. Much, much more... Consider the 15 years of time and effort and expertise that went into the creation of such massive amounts of game data. [&o]

And what about available organizations? MCS now boasts 40 individual countries, with some 8500 unique platoon unit IDs between them. Largest Battalion organization, Germany, contains some 1430 individual Battalion formations alone. 1430 unique battalions! And if that impressed you, how about individual, unique German Companies? Even better: 1630 coy formations in it.

Given that typically each of these organizations is really quite well researched, the value of these files cannot really even be measured, can it [&o]

I second this. For an old lady, she keeps marching on and with the development of the Modern Wars series, she will get even better. I am actually thinking of doing a World War 2.5 mod some day. Too much map work to do at the moment. BTW Crossroads, I am about ready to start work on your map. Chris.

Also, the minor countries have been expanded, France was also given WAY more than it had!!
