Runtime Error

Pandora: First Contact is a science-fiction turn-based strategy game of epic scale. Runtime Error

MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
I get the following error when I try to start a new game (the game hangs on "initializing game"):

X Runtime error!

Program:

...x86/Steam/streamapps/common/Pandora/Binaries/Pandora.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
