Why LSA is the best CC?

Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem is a highly enhanced new release of Close Combat, using the latest Close Combat engine with many additional improvements. Its design is based on the critically acclaimed Close Combat – A Bridge Too Far, originally developed by Atomic Games, as well as the more recent Close Combat: The Longest Day. This is the most ambitious and most improved of the new Close Combat releases, but along with all the enhancements it retains the same addicting tactical action found in the original titles! Close Combat – Last Stand Arnhem comes with expanded force pools, reserve & static battlegroups, a troop point buying system, ferry and assault crossings, destructible bridges, static forces and much more! Also included in this rebuild are 60+ battles, operations and campaigns including a new enhanced Grand Campaign!

Why LSA is the best CC?

You can have troops from 2 BG's attacking from two different entry VL's onto a map!!!

Don't understand why it was removed in PiTF and later releases (GTC)....

Good question Tejszd. Why won't they answer. It has been brought up before a number of times.

It has been answered a number of times before. Please see the PitF forum where that game is discussed.

Thanks,

Instead of making clearer directions in the manual or just finding a way to make it simpler in game the feature was dropped/removed if I'm reading correctly???

Borrowing forces from the second battle group was removed because it caused the UI to be complex and difficult to understand and because the actual benefit was small. The question of where the enemy forces are going to come from is still present in the game, since the defender does not know which enemy BG was the front line BG.

hmmmmmm....everyone i play LSA with dont seem to have any problem with the UI. its not complex IMO. the benefits of borrowing forces is not small IMO...you get free rested squads or support for as long as you want and it fills a short slotted BG's roster, also you initially get to enter from 2 diff VL's. these are not small benefits.

i never read any posts that said players didnt like this option? too bad it was dropped. a step backwards IMO.
