Well, I'm just about caught up to where I'm at in play. I have the intimidating task of managing returns to base to get through at the moment.

End of Turn

Slight change in formatting. I didn't quite like the way impulses were soooo big. I won't be going back and changing past posts, though, too much work.

Anyway, on with end of turn stuff.

Partisans
Not much happens in the way of partisans. The USSR gets 2 more. Whoop-de-doo.

Entry Markers
USSR draws 1 entry marker for its pact with Japan.

Here are the current pact totals. As I recall, both powers have around 3 units counting for garrison. Not much happening on this front. Yet.

Return to Base
Not a lot of units stay out at sea.

Here is a snapshot of the German naval forces after return to base.

The fleet in Kiel. I forgot to click 'subs', so they don't show up. But there are a few.

Allied fleets surrounding the UK have mostly returned to port.

(The rather unprotected convoys - apart from their inherent ASW - are tantalising to the Germans, but the requirements of three land-based fronts will likely outweigh the ability to make traditional use of their U-boats to start off the turn.)

The US transports are in Belfast, allowing them to be used alternately between shipping units from the UK to France, or heading to the US to pick up units there.

In Scapa Flow can be found more convoy escorts, and the Royal Navy transport flotillas (again based for flexibility).

(For those wondering, I shan't likely post a comprehensive return to base summary like this in future, only major changes to naval dispositions.)

In Ceylon, the Royal Navy's Asia-Pacific Station stands ready to take the fight to the Japanese. Unless there are Japanese carriers around. Or battleships. Or airplanes.

Some battleships remain in Kwajalein.

Not highlighted are units based in Ponape, ready for deployment for a possible attack on Truk.
