Post by sven6345789 »

Hi,
This squadron cannot be reasigned. It seems to be fixed to Malta Command.
Bougainville, November 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. It rained today.

Move the air group to the base or Air Force you want, then hit the assign all button at the bottom of the airbase detail screen. This will assign them to a different AF.

Will try this.
But if you are in the squadron window ( the one with the plane picture in the upper left corner) you can see the airforce the squadron is assigned to on the left hand side. Normally you can change the airforce, but with this one squadron it doesn't work. Just wanted to know if it is a bug or wad.
Latest patch (beta) btw.

I've come across several units like that, particularly some italian air groups.
Is it a bug that they can't be switched, or a bug that they can be switched with the assign all shortcut?

I noticed you can use the auto assign HQ button to get a TF re-assigned to another HQ. Let's you avoid the combat penalty they would suffer from being attached to AFHQ. So instead of 4 TFs fighting with the effectiveness of 3, you can get the firepower of all 4.
