Company Clashes

I'm producing a number of small company(+) sized battles called 'Company Clashes'

This is the first and would like some feedback

The aim is more practicing small unit tactics and uses a hand made map so it wont resemble any real world location and I've used callsigns rather than picking actual units.

Bonus points for anyone who can figure out what book I used for inspiration [:'(]

Just download it and starting to play it. What I see so far is interesting. I do have a couple of questions/issues.

First looking at the TOC I see this:

1815 hrs - SitRep - Zero Alpha with screen orders has 2 x M1IP Abrams and 1 x M113A1 in hex 0924. It would be great if the TOC would state that this and any other unit when it will arrive on the map. When I see this at first I thought the unit should be there when looking for it. But realizes that it is not on the map and will arrive later.

Second, I'm confuse on the call sign verse what is shown, for example:

You have Charlie 10, 20, and 30 showing in the Force Roster but in the player mission briefing you have C10, C11, C12, C13.

No problem, looking at posting my plan on the first part which is the recon elements, their route and what I want the recon to do, before the main company forces arrives on the map.

Oops, just noticed I put the wrong file in the zip pack......


Nevermind, content is the same its just the scenario and player briefing are updated and slightly different file name. I'll sort that once I go for a full release

Tazak, I owe you a write-up on your first Company Force scenario and will get it out soon, but right now I'm working on a remake scenario "WG3 The Witch's Cauldron (Remake) v1.0, adding US and East Germans forces to the scenario. One thing that I would do is not use the radio callsigns (but that's just me). I would use just the unit designator instead of call signs.

thanks John, I was going to but wanted to make it more genetic 'training scenario' rather than the normal 'what if' scenario
