If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Germany rebases 2 fighters to east. Italy rebases NAV in Sicily 2 hexes.
Italy uses HQ in Greece to reorganize bomber and Germany to reorganize INF. In Rumania German HQ reorganizes 2x MOT. I was trying to be clever and moved MTN to mountains but it is too far to be reorganized in rain.

RE: Mayhemizer vs Allen K: The rematch
The Soviets should have sent a helluva of bombers and pumped up to 10 or so their defence factor. (Or at least their maximum. I'd have used all the bombers!)
25 : 10 it's a +5 only. Woods and Rain = +2, +3 maybe with HQ support ...
A bad roll could have screwed the Finns badly. And anyhow I do not see enough Soviet forces for a counterattack.

As is my wont, I forgot to allow for weather & terrain when assigning air support. Besides, I didn't want to commit all my air as I have other uses for them.

M/A 41 Allies 2.
No DoW.
France Pass, China Land, rest Combined.
US sends a F4F to Pearl and an Amph loaded with an Inf out into the Pacific.
CW Loads Gort and ships him back to Liverpool. A CP heads into the West Med. Do the Axis wish to intercept?

On a 7, the intercept fails. The CP moves to East Med. I decline the intercept as it is pretty obvious it is going to stay there.
Two areas available for naval combat: East and West Med. Allies decline. Do the Axis wish to party in East Med?

Yes please. This was the reason why one ship did not use shore bombardment in Athens attack.
Edit: No additional planes for Axis.

Round 1
Searches Axis 9, Allies 1. Allies use their surprise points to lower AA to NE. This gives them 2D. They put the first D on CA Trento, which rolls a 3 and is damaged. Where do the Italians wish to place the second D? Do they continue the fight?

Gort reorgs the Trans.
On a 2, the weather goes yuk.

On the Italian controlled hexes in France. If Italy did capture those hexes before Vichy was declared, those hexes will stay Italian and are not given to Germany when Vichy was declared:
Control of occupied France is as per 13.7.1 except that all hexes controlled by
French units become controlled by the Axis major power installing the
Vichy government.
