How to de-select a unit

Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. How to de-select a unit

I have started a game. The game has selected s unit for me.

How do I de-select that unit so I can select another?

One unit always has to be selected, so you 'deselect' a unit by selecting another unit.

Yes, can not be done. That was something that bothered me at first. Then you get use to it.
