Convoy rebase

Post by sapper123 »

I am playing a Global War scenario and in the Nov/Dec '39 turn. It is the Naval re-base phase and the program is not allowing me to select convoys at sea. Per ROC and RAW convoys should be able to rebase during this phase.

they are placed at sea, in sentry mode..

doing stay at sea phase, you have to put them out of sentry mode..

...sentry mode is a way to set a unit in Idle mode.. so they stay at sea, without you having to do anything. you can use it on other naval units, if you know, that you want them to stay at sea(and fall down a section) at the end of turn.

To remove them from sentry mode, left click on the unit. You will get a menu. One of the items will say "Sentry", and it will have a check mark next to it. Click on that item, and the check mark will go away. You will then be able to move that unit.

Note that this action must be taken during the "Stay at Sea" step (or earlier); if you wait for the "Return to Base" step, you have already made the decision to keep the unit at sea, and it can't move.

Hint: Use the autosave to go back to the "Stay at Sea" step. Autosaves are your friend.
I thought I knew how to play this game....
