The USSR DOW is a surprise, but after the first round of combat, I would have aborted and saved the 4 cp's (this is not 20/20 hindsight). I don't have any info on what Japan has available in the way of reserve cp's and convoy protection (air and sea), but worst case this should impact Japan one turn. Also, have the capacity to re-org aborted cp's and conduct the normal sea zone protection scheme's, get into the habit of buying cp's every turn (un-sexy build, but crucial)and Japan should be ok after this point.

If someone can get around to it would like to see a map of northern China/Manchuria/far east USSR please.
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

Agree. The USSR have pulled a fast one and not paid too higher US price. Looks like they could make a bit of progress/mischief while Germany is occupied. I guess Japan has to pull resources from China now..I forget if they have much left in MAnchuria.

Marseilles Mil rails to Boulogne.

The French adjust their line.

The USSR advances 4 units into Manchuria and adjusts the Lanchow Warlord's position.

CW moves the Inf div from Cagliari to Olbia.

CW 2nd Inf div disembarks at Cagliari. Wavell disembarks to Malta.

USSR rebases a Lnd towards from the west towards Manchuria. A lnd and Ftr rebase from the border, following the army into Manchuria.

CW rebases P-40 to South France.

No reorgs.

Good, I was worried Axis might be in trouble [:@]

Japanese units are OOS in China and Nationalist Chinese are making a push to cause more troubles... Situation needs some damage control. Japan has 1 organized CP left...

Question about oil rules:

If Japanese want to spend both NEI oil to reorganize units, is it enough to have one CP in South China Sea or do I need 2 CP's there to trace supply path to units?

As far as I can tell, since it is only a supply path that needs to be traced, 1 CP per sea zone should do the trick. It does seem a little strange as shifting the 2 oil points would take 2 CP's per sea zone.

N/D 39 Axis 2

No DoW

Germany alings Bulgaria, on a 6 US ignores.

Germany land, Italy and Japan combined.

Italian NAV fly to Italian Coast box 4.

Italian CP sails to West Med, Italian troops in Africa are in supply. Japan moves CP to Sea of Japan and land units in China are back in supply.

Italy initiated combat in Italian Coast but declines in China Sea.

I believe USSR subs don't want to fight with CL's but wait for better target? And I also believe that Allies want to hunt down lonely CP in West Med after Italian Coast combat is over?

I assume CW bomber in Malta won't join the combat in Italian Coast?

Edit: CW subs stay in bottom in Italian Coast?

Axis 6, Allies 8 no combat in Italian coast.

Italian fighter covers CP in West Med. Do CW want to fly any planes? Do France want to commit their sub to combat in West Med?

Both rolled 3, Allies have 2 surprise points.

Not sure what France wants, but Italy wants naval air combat.

How do you want to use your points and will F4F-3 fly as bomber or fighter?
