My MANUAL German FBD rail repair units have stopped repairing. Their RRC is nothing.. why have they stopped working?? I am only on turn four!

Did you steal any of the attached units?

No. I have not moved any of the attached construction and labour units. They are still there. Supplies are low? Should I air drop them some supplies? They don't seem to be prioritised by the computer. Also, I would like to know how to change my air drops from fuel to supplies? I can't see where I have a choice? Great game. Totally hooked. Just need to get those rails repaired... is there anything i can do to improve the efficiency of the automatic repair crews as well? Thanks.

OK. I think it was low supplies. I air dropped supplies to my FBD's and the next turn they could move and repair again. I just don't know why they weren't getting their regular supplies. They are behind my forward lines. I hate to use precious supply drops for FBDs! Also, I noticed that the RRC COST for one unit is only 1, while for the others it is 3? I don't see any explanation why.

The other thing it could have been was a break in your rail lines. If you toggle rail damage on did you have white dots in the green circles? Sometimes it's not obvious that it's not a continuous track, e.g. the loop around the top of Kaunas. While you were dropping supply one of the non-controlled FBD units could have closed the gap.

On your other question, the RRC cost is 1 in the Baltic rail zone, 3 elsewhere.

Thanks! I didn't realise about the white dots. Is that rail damage due to partisans or are there other possible causes?

Glad to help! The white dots mean that they're not connected to the rest of your rail network. Follow the white dots back and the point where they disappear and the rail lines become solid green is where your issue is. You'll be able to see there whether it's damage, enemy zone of control or simply a non-obvious gap.

I have a similar issue. I manually moved a repair unit and now it's no longer repairing automatically. How do I get it back to go automatic. It's in dippy at the German border. This is my first game so I am a bit new to this.

Hrm... I can't edit my messages using me phone so I have to reply.

I think I figured out the problem. This is a manually controlled repair unit and I have to move and use points to repair based off what I am reading on the forums.

Is there a way to convert the unit to automatic?

Thanks.

No, this (and a few similar units) are controlled manually and you will bless them for it.
