Will there be level 1 / level 2 height buildings/terrain (like in original SL)?

My understanding is yes for terrain (up to 4?) but not for buildings (lot of gamers want this - any developer that does will do well I think).

The game supports 5 levels of elevation, base + 4 level hills. Buildings (wood/stone) are one level only...

Perhaps in the future (or by modders) we will see 2 level buildings? Sort of the same LOS rules as terrain elevation, etc.
