Will be appreciated! Take your time, I just saturated the existing Med and Lt Bridges to blend in nicer. For a 2D boardgame geek I am enjoying the 3D now as well more than I dare to confess. All your fault! [:D]

I just uploaded an update. lots of small adjustments including work on roads crossing hills, fords (bridges), some work on railroads. also started working on the desert mud terrain. little late for Christmas but thought I'd send a replacement. So, deactivate the 120615 version and trash it, then download the CSME 122715 file and unzip into the mod folder and activate it.

One more update was posted 020716. This one includes the night terrain versions.

So that should cover most of it for this 3D mod -at least for most scenarios...

Maus Man, hi,

hugely impressive..

The Claudia Schiffer of 3D/John Tiller type graphic [:)].

Normally am not keen on 3D in these type of games, stick to 2D. But these are superb.

All the best,
Kip.

Wow kipanderson,
I like that comparison! [:'(][:D] I've been away on other interests for the last few weeks here, but will try to keep that vision in mind as I get back on it.

Wow, that looks great. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to work. I downloaded the latest zip, unzipped it in the mods folder and activated it with JSGME. The terrain in-game still looks the same as before. Did I overlook any steps?

Edit: Oops, meant Maus Man Mod of course:

Make sure the Zip program you use does not create a double folder (ie: first a folder called "MausMan 3D Terrain Graphics" after zip name, then another one with the content. If so, copy the inner folder to your Mods folder.

It should look like this:

On another note, there was a 1.02 Open Beta out for download for a couple of hours where the folder was screwed up before we spotted it. Make sure your folder structure is as above

sometimes there is an extra folder level, check to see how many folder levels you have. 1 level above game files as above.

Thank you! The screenshot was really helpful. My folder was missing a 'graphics' folder for some reason. I created one and copied all the files into it - and it worked.

So getting back to more refinements to this mod. There were still some rough parts in the update in 1.02. I'm posting a replacement to include little fixes and attention to elevation changes for roads and rail. Did some work on the files used to display different conditions. Also more enhancements added to the ruined towns/cities in the terrain files.

Just deactivate the current MausMan mod (and probably delete it). Then download and unzip this new one your mods and activate.

And for those who like vehicle profile counters as an alternate in the 3-D view, I also added an incomplete mod of how I view units in 3d. Most units for most stock scenarios in ME have been converted with this mod. Download at the same site. Its called '..3D Units MausMan Graphics.zip' -a work in progress for anyone interested.
